I have been a little obsessed with matcha recently.. To that end I have been working on a new series of matcha bowls. These are from my most recent wood/soda firing in my coffin kiln. I was playing around with different glaze recipes this firing.. Taking old ones and replacing oxides to hopefully get some interesting results. I am really pleased with what I have up on my site! I did the normal discard from every firing.. This one being slightly higher than most. I threw away half of the work that came out.. But the ones that made it safely here I am very pleased with.
